Well, the tried and tested method world again. The men readily agreed to our suggestion. Yoshi is coming with us. Shmuel wondered just what we would be taking that would require two donkeys! He said that families bigger than ours got by with one just fine. I said that if he wanted to perform his duties as organiser dressed in creased clothes, then one donkey would do. He just laughed and said “anything for a quiet life!”. Shmuli has been tending his injured chicken, bathing it in herbal water. He is worried who will look after it when we are away. He did ask if he could bring it along, but Rivkah told him it might get scared and run away. I assured him we would work something out. He said that being a farmer was very hard sometimes. Still, he and Yoshi managed to go out for a while and come back dirty as ever!
